The Global Village is where communities can demonstrate the application of science and quality leadership and conference delegates and the general public can witness how science translates into community action and intervention. A blend of speaker sessions and cultural activities, the Global Village is also a hub for watching live performances, broadening networks and touring marketplace booths and art exhibits.

As part of the Global Village, the Youth Pavilion is a space led by the Munich Youth Force, aimed at spearheading an inclusive and impactful youth programme at AIDS 2024. At the Youth Pavilion, young people are not only delegates; they are activity organizers, speakers and leaders. The Munich Youth Force aims to create an inclusive and meaningful programme that represents young people in all their diversity, through setting its own programming to demonstrate the work and needs of young people worldwide.
This year’s theme is Breaking Barriers, Building Power and Forging Alliances, aiming to address the challenges faced by young people in the HIV response. The Youth Pavilion will host panels, workshops, networking events, performances, games, exhibitions, wellness and rooms for young people living with HIV. It will also provide the opportunity for participants to share their testimonials via our radio and video booths.
