Indlela@HE2RO is the first-of-its-kind behavioural science unit with an ongoing community health research panel (B-Hub) and a newly established behavioural lab (B-Lab) in South Africa. These resources enable rapid learning, co-design, prototyping and testing of behavioural interventions ahead of large-scale implementation. We will gather key thought leaders in behavioural economics, artificial intelligence (AI) and policy to demonstrate the importance of incorporating community voices and behavioural insights to future-proof the HIV response to an environment that is uncertain and rapidly changing. We aim to 1) discuss the "why" and the "how" of incorporating voices of the community and user experiences into the design of interventions across the HIV cascade; to provide concrete examples from our B-Hub and B-Lab of incorporating community voices into our projects related to 2) confronting HIV vaccine misinformation; and 3) safely and ethically incorporating AI into the HIV response.
